NamAir to establish line maintenance at Thruxton
Thruxton Aerodrome is pleased to welcome NamAir, who are establishing a Line Maintenance Facility operating from Hangar 10.
The facility is expected to become operational during October 2026 and will give Thruxton-based and visiting aircraft access to line maintenance and defect support on site.
Why this matters for based aircraft
On-site maintenance support is something the aerodrome has been keen to establish for some time.
The practical benefit is most obvious when something goes wrong. A defect that arises at Thruxton would previously have meant either arranging for maintenance support to be brought in, or repositioning the aircraft to another airfield. Neither is quick, and neither is cheap. Having this service available at the Thruxton removes that step.
For visiting pilots, it also means Thruxton is a more practical destination. A snag found during a day out does not automatically become a problem that has to be solved from somewhere else.
What NamAir will offer
Initially, NamAir intend to provide line maintenance and defect rectification. The capability is expected to develop further as their operation at Thruxton becomes established.
